JEBSIMA (SainsIndo Journal of Community and Service in Economics and Business) is a national scientific journal published by SainsIndo Research. This journal aims to serve as a medium for disseminating community engagement and community service activities that are based on scientific approaches in economics, business, management, and social sciences.

JEBSIMA publishes scholarly articles derived from community service programs, applied studies, best practices, and case-based implementations that contribute to community empowerment, socio-economic development, and innovation at the grassroots level.

The journal focuses on the application of economic and business knowledge to address real social and economic challenges faced by communities, particularly in the areas of empowerment, sustainability, and inclusive development.

JEBSIMA is open to submissions from academics, researchers, practitioners, and students from within and outside Indonesia. The journal is committed to implementing a rigorous, objective, and transparent peer-review process to ensure the scientific quality and relevance of every published article.

Peer Review Process

JEBSIMA implements a double-blind peer review process, where the identities of authors and reviewers are kept confidential to maintain objectivity. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two reviewers with expertise relevant to the article’s field.

Editorial decisions include:

Accepted without revision

Accepted with minor revisions

Accepted with major revisions

Rejected

 

Open Access Policy

JEBSIMA provides open access to all published articles. This policy supports the wide dissemination of scientific knowledge and enhances the visibility and impact of community engagement activities and applied research.

 

Publication Ethics

JEBSIMA is committed to upholding the highest standards of publication ethics and adheres to the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE).

 

The principles of publication ethics include:

Honesty and originality of scientific work

Prohibition of plagiarism

Transparency of conflicts of interest

Fair, objective, and unbiased peer review

All submitted manuscripts will undergo a plagiarism check using plagiarism detection software. The maximum allowable similarity level is ≤20%, excluding references and direct quotations.

 

Copyright and Licensing

The copyright of published articles remains with the author.

JEBSIMA applies the Creative Commons Attribution–ShareAlike (CC BY-SA) license, which allows users to share and adapt the work, provided proper attribution is given to the author and the original publication.

 

Article Processing Charge (APC)

JEBSIMA does not charge a submission fee.

However, to support the sustainability of journal management, editorial processes, peer review, and online publication, JEBSIMA applies an Article Processing Charge (APC) of:

Rp 100,000 (one hundred thousand rupiah)

(payable after the article is accepted)

Maintenance of the journal management system

 

JEBSIMA is committed to implementing a transparent, affordable, and responsible publication fee policy and supporting the dissemination of knowledge through open access.

A publication fee waiver may be granted under certain conditions and considerations.
